Big Boi has told Junior he could release his next album "tomorrow" if he wanted to.

Tentatively titled Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, it's more likely to be released at the end of the year.

"Oh man, it’s going to be S-A-X-X-X triple unadulterated funk to the extremest level," the Outkast MC promised from a tour bus en route to Atlanta. "Straight lyrical assassin, and the beats are going to be as hard hitting as always. I’mma let everything else be a surprise, and just let it speak for itself.

"I’m 17 songs into it now, everything is sounding phenomenal. I could put it out tomorrow if I wanted to, but I’mma marinate on it because I’m on the road. I feel good about it, all the music’s sounding great... I'm just really stayin' busy out here killin' it."

Big Boi confirmed protege Janelle Monáe will appear on the album.

"We’re working on her next album now, and I can tell you that she’ll be on the new Daddy Fat Sax album... You know, to be able to bring new talent to the game… man, that’s what it’s all about. I really take pride in artists that take pride in themselves, you know what I’m sayin’?   

"She’s somebody whose hand you don’t have to hold. She’s got a creative mind, she’s got a great spirit. She’s a good girl and I’m proud of her. She’s making me very proud."

The album will be the second to be named after one of Big Boi's aliases. Debut solo LP Sir Lucious Leftfoot introduced the world to 'the David Blaine', a sexual maneuver that involves making love to someone from behind, letting a friend take over, and running to a window to wave at your partner.

"Everybody needs to try a David Blaine! It’s all about havin’ fun with your life, man! Sometimes a girl won’t let you, a girl might wanna try one on you! You never know!"
